Vanik was very responsive via text and arrived on time prepared for a few different tasks I had around the house. He was also flexible in doing a couple of small additional tasks that I asked him about while he was here. He had all his tools and was very easy going and friendly and the work was completed very efficiently and professionally. I would highly recommend calling on him for handyman services.

These guys were great. Came within in the hour I needed them to move a vanity that had been delivered to the wrong place. They were hard working, professional, respectful and figured out the best way to get this massive vanity inside. I couldn’t ask for better service. Will absolutely call them again.

The level of detail, clear expertise, value and professionalism Exhibited made me feel incredibly lucky I stumbled on Vanik! I was under time pressure as I bought a BLINK security system for my daughter’s new apt. & was leaving back to NYC in two days. Vanik responded punctually, did the install & helped set up the system on my daughters’ phone. I then asked him To do a curtain rod install. He’s got great attention to detail. I told him to install brackets 96 inches up From floor. As that’s the length of the curtain. I saw him measuring the curtain & I said that’s not necessary. He said the grommets will shorten the 96 to 93 inches height of bracket. He was right! Also as mom/daughter alone in the house I felt safe & he was respectful. He even wore those cloth booties in the house! Highly recommend!

I'd select all five if Thumbtack allowed me to, for a total of 5/5. He and his partner asked if they could start a half hour early, which they did, and which definitely qualifies as punctual. They were completely professional, focused and efficient, and I'm quite pleased with the kitchen overhead light replacement they've done so far. They need additional equipment before replacing our air conditioner because of the concrete wall composition around our existing unit, so they insisted on only charging one hour instead of their standard two hour minimum because they were only able to complete half the jobs so far - that is definitely value. Furthermore, of the three handymen I contacted for this job, they are the ONLY ones who quote an hourly rate and actually *meant* it - the other two immediately quoted a total of approx. 6 times their hourly rate "because of the scope of work". I really appreciate someone who says it's an hourly rate, and MEANS it. Absolutely worth the value. I can't rave enough about how pleased I am with their work so far.

i am so satisfied with the work of Vanik and Edward. They are so knowledgeable and even made some suggestions. They finished the job so fast. i highly recommend Vanik. He's a very good handyman. Very dependable! No regrets!
